Released on August 5, 2018

BenTek’s Development and Client Success teams work continuously to implement new features and improvements to the BenTek software. BenTek Version 7.2.0 include the following key updates within the Administration and Employee Benefits Center Modules:

  • Fixed a typo on the Payroll Audit page. [BT-19188]
  • Medicare Beneficiary Identifier field has been moved to Employee basic information in order to be available for all status. [BT-19693]
  • Status/Job termination history now displays the correctly formatted date/time when an employee is termed through Personnel Import. [BT-19658]
  • Uploading a file through Personnel Import will no longer fail when the file name is the same as an existing uploaded file. [BT-19658]
  • Issues with uploading files in BenTek when using Internet Explorer 11 have been resolved. [BT-19664]
  • An issue where jobs were appearing duplicated on the admin screen has been resolved [BT-19670]
  • An issue where Employees who should be designated as the Primary Beneficiary for Dependent Life coverage but were not has been resolved [BT-19203]
  • An issue was discovered when saving beneficiary designations on the year-round section. In a rare situation, the user would receive an error message indicating that a primary beneficiary must be made for a plan that is not appearing on the screen. This has been corrected so the user will only see information pertaining to the visible plans.[BT-19056]
  • When a New Hire Orientation submission occurred, there was a possibility that the elected plan would not be mapped to a future plan. When a new hire now submits their session and there is a future mapped plan, the new hire will receive that plan as well. [BT-18269]
  • An issue was discovered when a benefit is outside of any plan year configured in BenTek. The benefit is displaying now without error. [BT-16545, BT-18749]
  • Updates have been made to the codes sent on the eligibility file when applicable. [BT-19358]
  • An issue was discovered in the payroll audit where a discrepancy would not appear. If a previous year's codes were sent on the payroll file, then a discrepancy may not have occurred in certain situations. This has been corrected so previous year's codes will be ignored. [BT-19057]
  • BenTek has added extra security layers. [BT-19400]
  • An issue was discovered in the Beneficiary section for Martin County. If an Admin attempted to look for an employee and access the employee's beneficiary section, the page would keep on loading and crash. If the user attempted to log into the BenTek site and enter the beneficiary section through the Menu tab, the site will keep on loading and crash. This issue has been corrected. [BT-20012]
  • An issue was discovered when a slider option changed on the Benefits Election screen, it would not be properly displayed on the Summary of Elections screen. In some instances, the previous option would still display. This visual issue has been corrected to properly reflect what was chosen on the Benefits Election screen. [BT-20049]
  • A Superion payroll export now exists. [BT-19665]
