BenTek’s Development and Client Success teams work continuously to implement new features and improvements to the BenTek software. BenTek Version 7.1.0 include the following key updates within the Administration and Employee Benefits Center Modules:

• An issue was discovered in some scenarios where the waiting period would not be stored when saving a returning employee in the personnel import. BenTek has been updated to properly store the waiting period selected by the user. [BT-19015]
• Coverage entries will no longer be duplicated when an admin approves them in a qualifying event. [BT-18729]
• The Care ATC export has been updated to include more options for the division numbers. [BT-18721]
• An issue was discovered when adding dependents to a coverage with no spouse. The dependent validation is functioning correctly now.  [BT-18162, BT-13863]
• An issue was discovered for some date calculations on the HIOC/Data Audits. These date calculations should appear correctly now. [BT-18753]
• The eligibility file generation has been updated to include options for Third Party Administration Codes. [BT-19343]
• The Benefit Rules Configuration has been updated to test Guarantee Amounts based on a percentage of the current Benefit Amount. [BT-18639]
• Updated the Worxtime Coverage Relationship and Enroll_Status codes for Cobra employees ('EC' and 'E',  respectively) and Cobra dependents ('DC' and 'E',  respectively).  [BT-19495]
• Per Carrier request, the logic for Branch Codes on the 834 eligibility file generation has been updated to handle more use cases. [BT-18418]
• The calculator engine has been updated to allow a client to base a premium calculation rounded back from the contribution/deduction. [BT-19359]
• An issue was discovered on the standalone Beneficiary Designations section that would show currently effective and future effective plans of the same coverage type. The Beneficiary Designations section has been updated to only show the most recently effective plan. [BT-18190]
• An issue was discovered with the dashboard widget, where Medicare and dependent related widgets were displaying deceased and terminated employees. Deceased or terminated employees will no longer appear in those widgets. [BT-19378]
• The Health Insurance Claim Number has been renamed to Medicare Beneficiary Identifier. [BT-19228]
• Some "Add" and "Edit" icons were not functioning correctly. These now work as expected. [BT-19551]
• Added additional security to Personnel Import, Payroll Audit, Wellness Import, and WebFTP when uploading files. [BT-19172]
• A roadmap link has been added to the main menu for administrators. This page will show the BenTek initiatives over a three year period. [BT-19154]
• An issue was discovered on the WebFTP page. Clicking the "BenTek Support" link did not cause the support form to appear. The link will now show the support form. [BT-18845]
• An issue was discovered where certain single date exports were no longer generating. The export generation has been updated to ensure that all exports generate successfully. [BT-19613]
• An issue was discovered for multi-election coverage types (AFLAC/Colonial) where the deduction or contributions would not be saved during NHO. This has been fixed. [BT-19077]
• Internet Explorer 11 compatibility issues that were restricting functionality in certain areas of NHO have been resolved. [BT-19694]

System updates are generally released on a monthly schedule during our maintenance window on Sundays from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. BenTek is committed to updating you on these changes made to the BenTek application after system maintenance is performed.
