Terminate Employment Status

Terminate an Employee Manually
Navigate to the Employee record. Select Edit icon in the Status section. The form turns red indicating edit mode.
Enter the Termination date (last day worked), select a Reason for Separation, and Save.
Terminating the Employment Status will automatically terminate the Job (job end date = termination date).
Terminating the Status does not automatically terminate the Benefit Class. Remember to also Terminate the Benefit Class.
For most groups the rest of the fields in the Status section are not required. For example, Coverage End date does not actually terminate or control any coverage changes. If you are an exception to this rule, your Bentek Account Manager would advise you separately.
