Summit 2020 Release Updates

Bentek’s Development and Client Success teams work continuously to implement new features and improvements to the Bentek software.  This version of the post-summit release notes includes a summary of following key updates within the Administration and Employee Benefits Center Modules released over the past 10 days.

Administration Module:

  • There was an issue for administrators being unable to edit / add / remove Pensions or Pension Carriers that has been addressed [BT-24491]
  • Fixed a time stamp display issue for Generated File details in the Eligibility Section. [BT-24447]
  • Fixed several reports that generated blank due to a display issue. [BT-24551]
  • Updated permissions for view only administrative accounts to update restrictions in place. [BT-24367]
  • Updated styling in the Personnel Import section to correct display issues appearing in Fire Fox. [BT-24490]
  • Corrected an issue within the Subsidy section because the "Do Not Apply Deductions" option did not save. [BT-24718]
  • The filters on the Total Subscribers Plan/Tier widget within the Admin Dashboard have been updated. [BT-24727]
  • Updated content within the Administration module referencing 'All Employees' to 'All Members' for site consistency. [BT-24413]
  • Record Search results displayed dependent records in error. The filter options on the Record Search have been corrected.  [BT-24776]
  • Enhanced the Record Search to include the middle initial of a member's name in the results. [BT-24406]
  • Updated content that appears in Waiver of Premium History. [BT-24316]
  • Updated reports that did not display calculated benefits correctly. [BT-24953]
  • Updated the display of the Web FTP page within the Administration Module to show sort indicator icons properly. [BT-24327]
  • Updated the EBC search to prevent users from running a search if only spaces were entered in the criteria fields. [BT-24339]
  • Updated site response time to ensure sections can be expanded/collapsed properly. [BT-24624]
  • Updated the loading icon that appears when running exports. [BT-24421]
  • Corrected the reporting menus to properly expand providing a user friendly view of the sub-menu items. [BT-24374]
  • Fixed a display issue within the My Favorites sub-menu if there are no reports listed in the My favorites section.  [BT-24374]
  • Updated styling on the Admin Employee Account Info page. [BT-24401]
  • Updated the Admin/EBC Search to permit use of an apostrophe in the search criteria. [BT-24962]
  • Updated the Personnel Import to properly handle the processing of those records with a status of "No Benefits". [BT-24649]
  • Updated styling of the "Complete" button within the Document Center to be more visible. [BT-24623]

Employee Benefits Center Module

  • Updated the year-round beneficiary designations page to now include a new 'Discard Session' option. This new option will allow user to easily cancel any changes to their beneficiary designations they do not wish to save. [BT-24391]
  • Beneficiary designations did not display in some cases where the benefit name included an apostrophe and a message appeared indicating no beneficiary designation exists. This has been corrected and your saved designations will now appear. [BT-24480]
  • Updated alert message that appears for employees when they newly add dependents to confirm that the dependent will also appear in the beneficiary section. [BT-24410]
  • Removed repetitive disclaimer language regarding Required Documents on the Summary of Elections page. [BT-24417]
  • Fixed a styling issue where the "My Account" page header would interfere with the client logo. [BT-24312]
  • Updated tool tip functionality so nothing appears where no tip is provided. [BT-24412]
  • Election rules configured for all 'Waive' options that appear within those election boxes using 'slide' functionality has been updated. [BT-24481]
  • The Notifications section within the user Account Profile section has been updated with appropriate alerts when users do not have a verified email address. [BT-24376]
  • Enrollment in spouse life insurance was corrected to ensure the system restricts enrollment in a benefit amount that is over 50% of the employee life insurance benefit when the rule is applied. [BT-24825]
  • Corrected an issue within the Life Event section to display the proper site content when the last listed Life Event was removed from the page. [BT-24372]
  • The calculation slider that appears on certain election boxes has been updated to only appear red in color if the user drags over a benefit amount that they are not eligible to elect. [BT-24825]
  • Enrollment rules have been updated to restrict enrollment in any plan that is no longer offered in the new plan year. An alert will appear to inform the user of the enrollment rules. [BT-24825]
  • Corrected an issue where the Incomplete Life Event icon would display in error on the Employee Home  screen. [BT-24884]
  • Corrected election rules that check future enrollment status of FSA/HSA type elections. [BT-24481]
  • Corrected election rules that restrict enrollment (when applicable) for all election options that now appear as cards.  [BT-24481]
  • Corrected election rules that restrict enrollment for all election options that are manual such as FSA/HSA coverages. [BT-24481]
  • Corrected the display of the Plan Comparison table. [BT-24561]
  • Updated the styling of election cards to ensure consistent sizing. [BT-24305]
  • Updated styling within the My Documents section. [BT-24323]
  • Updated styling of the Contact Support page header so it would not interfere with the client logo. [BT-24377]
  • Enabled the ability for employees to remove any submitted life events that have not yet been removed. [BT-24866]
  • Corrected the hover display for the dependent PCP link. [BT-24347]
  • Corrected an issue for Spouse slider election rules that restrict enrollment when EE life is waived. The election rule will now correctly restrict user from enrolling in Spouse life when EE life is waived, per the election rule configuration. [BT-24709]
  • Updated the benefits cart to display the proper amounts for HSA/FSA plans based on newly entered amounts. [BT-24709]
  • Corrected enrollment condition validation for FSA/HSA elections, which ensures users enroll in the correct benefit based on their medical election. [BT-24875]

System updates are typically released during our weekly scheduled maintenance window on Sundays from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Only when necessary will an additional patch be released outside the scheduled maintenance window. Bentek is committed to updating you on these changes made to the Bentek application before system maintenance is performed.
