Bentek’s Development and Client Success teams work continuously to implement new features and improvements to the Bentek software.  Bentek Version 2021.6.2 includes the following key updates within the Administration and Employee Benefits Center Modules:

  • Performance enhancements have been applied to the Report Builder to decrease processing time. [BT-27733]
  • Dependent records have been updated with a new Date of Death field. Dependents with the date of death field populated will not appear on cobra exports and will be hidden from employee view. [BT-23030]
  • Additional configuration options have been added to the payment tracking feature. The amount owed can now be determined by either the full deduction amount or the full premium amount. [BT-27802]
  • Bentek has added a new feature to support the enrollment in benefits that require underwriting approval. This feature will display pended benefits to both employees and administrators. Administrators will have the ability to manually approve pended benefits. Each client will have the option to add this feature, which must be configured on a per client basis. [BT-26441]

System updates are released during our weekly scheduled maintenance window on Sundays from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Only when necessary will an urgent patch be released outside the scheduled maintenance window. Bentek is committed to updating you on these changes made to the Bentek application before system maintenance is performed.

The Bentek application and videos are currently supported by the following browsers: Chrome version 44 and higher, Mozilla Firefox version 40 and higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 11 or higher, Microsoft Edge 12 and higher, and Safari 9 and higher.
