Bentek’s Development and Client Success teams work continuously to implement new features and improvements to the Bentek software.  Bentek Version 2021.4.1 includes the following key updates within the Administration and Employee Benefits Center Modules:

  • The RetireSweet module has been updated to include premium invoice reports, which are utilized to generate monthly premiums owed. In addition, administrators can generate invoices and track all premium amounts owed, apply payments received and view any balances. Three new widgets have been added to the Admin Dashboard to provide at a glance views and details for these new module features. [BT-18688]

  • Bentek's enrollment modules have been enhanced with configuration to automatically redirect an employee to the Document Center based on client request. The redirection occurs when an employee submits a New Hire Orientation, Open Enrollment, or Life Event session. The redirect can be configured to occur all the time, only in certain situations, or always off per module. [BT-25851]

  • AdmInsights is a new dashboard equipped with several widgets that display various types of data based on site usage for the Employee Benefit Center and Administrative portals. Administrators will have access to view detailed statistics and cumulative data collected from:

    • Administrator Usage & Change History
    • Employee Benefit Center Submissions & Status History
    • Payroll Audits & Discrepancy History
    • Personnel Imports & Records Processed

This feature is only viewable to those administrator chosen to have access to it. [BT-23895]

  • The Bentek menu system has been redesigned and will appear at the top of the screen in a horizontal layout. The Menu has been updated with additional modules and features, enhanced organization, and intuitive icons. The Bentek icon located in the top left corner of the site is now a second option for users to navigate back to the Home screen. [BT-27479]

  • The "Forms" page has been redesigned and renamed to "Resources".  The page layout has been modified to show all forms in an easier to read format. Administrators can be granted specific permissions to modify the layout of the Resources section by changing the order and display, as well as creating or removing the different resource groups.   • Bentek has a new Help section that contains guides and videos for administrators and employees. This information is broken out into standard information on how to navigate and use Bentek (Bentek) and information clients can manage for the employee population (My Employer).  An administrator can modify the layout of the My Employer videos and guides pages by changing the order and display.   • The Client Portal is a new module that will house and manage client data to streamline engagement and improve processes with clients. The Client Portal will include the following sections [BT-27475]:
    • Client Stats – Open Enrollment Dates, Enrollment and Coverage Statistics, and Scheduled Files
    • Client Profile – Contact information for key individuals who work with the Bentek Client Success Teams.
    • Bentek Profile – Contact information for each member of your dedicated Bentek Service Team with quick links to email and phone.
    • Carriers – Complete list of your insurance providers and vendors including contact information and a simple way to Export a complete list of all your carrier information.
    • Admin Documents – Upload and store documents, forms, files and more to manage your implementation, annual renewal process, and access the Webftp for stored files and bills generated from Bentek. 
  • Additional validation has been added so that a dependent cannot be covered on the same coverage type by multiple employees at the same time. If this is permitted by your benefit program, please contact your Account Manager as this can be configured to permit an overlap in coverage if required. [BT-26455]

  • Bentek’s notification system has been enhanced to include the following:
    • EBC notifications will now include the following additional details: name of module, employee name, and administrator name. [BT-22595]
    • Administration notifications related to files, exports, and reports will now include the following additional details: name of file/export/report, generation date, and transmission date. [BT-22595]
    • Terminated employees will no longer receive notifications beyond their date of termination. [BT-26097]
    • Notifications will include attachments where applicable should the details contain numerous records, such as OE submissions or in the case where Administrators only receive notifications weekly or monthly. [BT-22595]
  • The OE Stats report for clients with supplemental vendor integration has been enhanced to include passive enrollment submissions, submission made by the administrator, and if the employee went to the OE module and didn't submit any session. [BT-26654]

  • The OE Stats widget has been updated to include passive enrollments and administrator assisted enrollments. [BT-26603]

  • Bentek’s standard permissions for Administrators have been enhanced to create specific access to various modules and features. Administrators can now be granted with access to site configuration tools available in the new Resources and Help sections and to view the new AdmInsights Dashboard. [BT-27495]

  • Bentek is now integrated with Trustmark offering online enrollment in Trustmark’s various voluntary products including Universal Life with Long Term Care, Hospital StayPay, Critical HealthEvents, and Accident insurance.

System updates are released during our weekly scheduled maintenance window on Sundays from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Only when necessary will an urgent patch be released outside the scheduled maintenance window. Bentek is committed to updating you on these changes made to the Bentek application before system maintenance is performed.

The Bentek application and videos are currently supported by the following browsers: Chrome version 44 and higher, Mozilla Firefox version 40 and higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 11 or higher, Microsoft Edge 12 and higher, and Safari 9 and higher.
