Generate Bills

Bentek Billing enables administrators to generate a statement based on member enrollment. Self-billing clients will use this regularly to produce monthly bills. List-bill clients may use the billing functionality to help audit carrier invoices.

Navigate to Billing from the Benefits Administration Menu.

Scheduling Bills

Bills can be scheduled to automatically run on a recurring basis just like eligibility files or other reports. To schedule bills contact your Bentek Account Manager.

Run Bills Manually

Select the Bill you want to run (under Billing section).

The Run Date auto-populates with current month, but can be changed as needed. To change to prior month, select any day within the prior month. Bills capture all enrollments within the selected month.

Select Run, to manually run the bill.

Once bill has generated expand the Generated Files section.

  • The download icon next to file name opens the bill
  • The arrow icon on far right (under Actions), sends the bill to carrier 
  • The remove icon (trash can) deletes the file

The Search Date under Generated Files is set to display current month's files. If you're looking for prior month files, adjust the Search Date.

The File Transaction Log at bottom of page is a log of actions that occur on the page. It logs all files generated and sent, dates and times, and identifies  administrator. Move the Search Date to look forward or backward in time.
