Bentek’s Development and Client Success teams work continuously to implement new features and improvements to the Bentek software. Bentek Version 2026.5.3 includes the following key updates within the Administration and Employee Benefits Center Modules:

• Dependent creation workflow updated to default the Country drop-down to United States. [BT-42219]
• COBRA administrator status creation enhanced to automatically carry over the Employee ID from the active job record when available. [BT-44551]
• COBRA file generation process updated to exclude dependent plan records when there is no gap in coverage. [BT-40945]
• COBRA file generation process updated to exclude dependents when the entered COBRA Event Date falls outside the report date range and was not entered during that range. [BT-21732]

System updates are released during our weekly scheduled maintenance window on Sundays from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Only when necessary will an urgent patch be released outside the scheduled maintenance window. Bentek is committed to updating you on these changes made to the Bentek application before system maintenance is performed.
